BBC News Drivers given parking tickets by a council in Hertfordshire could be entitled to a refund after an error in wording came to light. A traffic penalty tribunal has deemed as invalid all enforcements issued by the authority since 30 March 2008. St Albans District Council's documents were out of date as legal wording had not changed since the 2004 Traffic Management Act, the tribunal ruled.

FleetM8, based in Boldon, South Tyneside, is working with software specialists DLAB to create “virtual loading bays”, which allow commercial vehicles to deliver goods using a system similar to the way air traffic controllers manage flights in and out of airports.
